Stupid Drivers
Last night in socal, it rained and rained and rained some more. Streets were flooded, people were wet and angry, animals were looking for the ark - and I was driving home with my fellow commuters hoping that I might make it before I had to get up and return to work. During the rain we all need to slow down...but slowing to 10 mph on the 5 north during rush hour, rain or not....is dangerous. Of course some people decide if they drive faster the rain might not hit their cars, as they hydroplane past me I can already hear the ambulance sirens heading in their direction. I drive slower, 55 - 50, I keep a greater distance between myself and the car in front of me - I sit up straight and I don't listen to the radio. Common sense washes down street drains right with the raindrops. People are stupid - they lack sense - they lack judgement - they lack compassion. I don't know why this is but I wish I could give stupid people tickets and make them go to stupid people reprogramming school. Stupid people endanger my life - they make my commute really long and they make my stomach hurt. I don't eat until almost seven, then I can't sleep and when I finally find Mr. Sandman he puts rocks in my eyes which remain long into the next day. The inevitable nightmare is because of stupid people driving 80 next to a semi on a rain slicked freeway, when you can't see the taillights of the car in front of you. It makes me angry and I want to find some way to fix the stupid people because I don't believe people want to be stupid -
